Oando Foundation
At Arc-Lights Foundation, we believe that the earliest years of a child's education lay the groundwork for future success. In pursuit of this vision, we partnered with the Oando Foundation, supporting its Adopt-A-School Initiative (AASI), a nationwide effort to revitalise public primary education in Nigeria through infrastructure development, teacher support, and community engagement.
This project, which was funded by Oando Foundation, focused on delivering tangible improvements to the learning environments of adopted schools across several states.

School Infrastructure Renovation
- Arc-Lights Foundation facilitated the renovation of classrooms in various schools, including LEA Primary School in Rido (Kaduna State). This included addressing overcrowding, providing sanitation facilities, and modernising learning spaces to ensure a conducive environment for students.

ICT Centre Establishment
In partnership with Oando Foundation, Arc-Lights played a pivotal role in setting up ICT Centres in schools, enhancing digital literacy and giving students and teachers access to modern technology for educational advancement.

Early Child Care Development (ECCD) Centre Upgrades
- Arc-Lights contributed to the enhancement of ECCD centres, ensuring younger learners had access to age-appropriate educational materials and a safe, creative learning space.

STEM Education Initiatives
Arc-Lights also collaborated in setting up LEGO Education Centres and Innovation Labs, fostering STEM learning and providing students with hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement
In addition to the physical infrastructure improvements, Arc-Lights played an integral role in engaging communities, ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of these programs over the long term. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to giving every child access to quality basic education in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
